Margaret has worked in education for over 30 years. She held executive roles in the public and not for profit sectors, including the adult, further and higher education sectors. She served as a board member for a number of organisations and institutions: the founder Chair of FHALMA (Friends of the Huntley Archives at London Metropolitan Archives), Chair of the Black Childcare Network and board member of Morley College and Birkbeck Institute of Lifelong Learning. She led education research projects and leadership development programmes in the UK, South Africa and the EU. She supports readers in a local primary school and is a Patron of the charity, FHALMA.
She holds a Certificate in Education from the Institute of Education, University of London and an MA and PhD in Post Compulsory Education and Training from the University of Greenwich. |
